Unlike my friends doing renovation with other ID companies, I don’t have a clear calendar of when what would be done. I know some IDs do have sort of a shared calendar with their clients. However, I think my experience overall with Zenith Arc is fairly pleasant. I chose them because they provided me with visuals at the 2nd mtg and because the visuals were what I was looking out for. In terms of design and space planning, I found them to be good and creative, while being attentive to the needs of all the homeowners. (Yes, even my 10 year old daughter.) The whole renovation process was v long because of how massive the renovation was, but I did feel quite assured knowing that the ID would be able to handle this, and provide solutions along the way. Of course, inevitably, there would be problems and being the hands on owners that we were, we found ourselves checking regularly and asking for things to be rectified. Am glad that Jordan, the boss by the way, was amenable to our countless requests. Even after the handover, even after the last payment was made, he was still willing to help us with issues that cropped up, or simply entertain our request to have certain features added to the house, at no extra cost at that. Any homeowner will tell you how important after-handover service is. For the beautiful home I now have, and the excellent service rendered, I will likely choose to work with them again.

We’ve engaged Zenith Arc with Shirley as our ID. Prior to selecting them, we had also been engaging with other ID’s, what made their proposal stood out was that they had provided as a 3D render to help us visualise it. Shirley had been a breeze to work with. She had made our ideas into a reality, but she would also remind us from time to time the pros and cons of our design choices. She had been patient with us whenever we change our minds on some choices. Her team delivered a good job and quality outcome, we never felt that they cut corners for more profit. Shirley provided us also a lot of freebies as well. It has been more than a month since she handed over the unit. She had been very helpful in assisting for any defects we forward to her, which all of it are minor ones. Overall, our house renovation was a success with Zenith Arc and Shirley. Looking forward in engaging them in the future.

Engaged senior designer Hugo’s design services for my 4 room BTO in Punggol Northshore. Extremely glad that the whole renovation process was smooth and made so much simpler with Hugo’s help in every step of the way. He was extremely accommodating and patient with a first time flat owner like myself, helping me with things beyond just renovating the flat. You can expect that he is prompt in his replies and will provide his best assistance in every matter. Renovating a whole flat is a long journey, but we really don’t have to worry much as we felt confident to leave it to Hugo. We are now happily staying in our fully furnished flat and the quality of the work is also great. Hugo will still provide assistance to us with any post-renovation concerns that we occasionally may have. First time homeowner here. Engaged Hugo from Zenith Arc. He very steady. So I also very steady. He quite detailed, very responsive & responsible. 交代的事 he all got do. Some things he also went above and beyond. His carpenters also very steady, some things I buy from taobao they also steady to help fix, and fix issues that arises from there even though not their taiji. Me and wife would like to express our deepest appreciation towards our Interior Designer, Shirley, who professionally handled our new BTO renovation. We went through few IDs and finally decided to engage Zenith Arc due to Shirley’s professionalism and attentiveness. She listened to our ideas, and able to envision those ideas with her experience into the design. And she was patiently enough to accommodate rounds of changes to the design, choice of material, colours etc. When come to the execution, her project management skill is amazing, she is able to plan all activities smoothly and we entrusted almost everything to her, even including the timing of the delivery of items that we bought from taobao. And we really appreciate her patience in handling situation where there were some hiccups in the delivery timing which affecting her schedule. Overall, the renovation is able to be completed to our expectation in design and timing. After the completion of renovation, Shirley is still attending with fast response and patience to our needs to rectify certain items. In conclusion, we are happy with our new BTO and look forward to stay in the nicely design home and we would like to recommend Shirley to whoever is looking for a professional and great Interior Designer.

I got a chance to meet Willy when we shifted to our new office at Cecil St. Infact it was Willy who had done up our office setup – nicely done i must admit. After moving in, we still had a few more carpentry works to be done and Willy gave us suggestions on how we can make use of the office space. Our office is now fully setup. Willy is professional and provides excellent service. He goes way out to help us even though it was not his job to do so. Even now all i need to do is watsapp him and he will advise me accordingly, even if it means coming down to office. I will want to work with him if i get the chance again. Thank you Willy.

In my search for the perfect interior designer, I consulted with several professionals, but ultimately chose Shirley because she presented us with a 3D rendering during our second meeting. The design perfectly matched my preferred wood style, demonstrating that she truly understood my vision. Unlike other designers who either overwhelmed me with unnecessary details or indulged in self-promotion, Shirley was incredibly efficient and professional. She ensured that every detail was approved by me, making sure that all design choices aligned with my expectations. The entire renovation process was incredibly smooth and stress-free for me. During that period, I was busy with my startup and had very little time to visit the site. I entrusted almost everything to Shirley, and she managed it all exceptionally well. The construction team was highly efficient and executed the work to a high standard, which left me with very few concerns. Remarkably, the renovation was completed ahead of schedule. Every time we met, Shirley had prepared several options for me to choose from, such as materials and wall colors. She also listed out the necessary lighting fixtures and other furniture, even helping me browse options on Xiaohongshu and Taobao. Her meticulous and comprehensive service was simply outstanding. Shirley handled the entire house renovation without ever pressuring or persuading me into accepting designs I didn’t like. Her respect and understanding made the process much smoother and more enjoyable. I am extremely satisfied with her professionalism and efficiency, and I highly recommend her to anyone in need of interior design services.

We weee assigned to Alex Lim when we look for an ID at Zenith Arc. We talked to him on our concerns on the safety especially when it come to the loft and we also tell him we needed the renovation to be completed in a tight timeline because we need to quickly vacate ourselves from the house we had sold. Through a few sessions we had with him we noticed that Alex is very confident, serious and dependable. We decided to go ahead with Zenith Arc for renovation. We see Alex’s full commitment to all our major concerns throughout the project and we are really thankful for how much attention and care he had put into project as well as the timely delivery of the house. I got to know Wai Wai through Qanvast Hangout and I was already struck by the meticulous questions she asked to understand my renovation requirements. We met up a 2nd time to go through the design and quotation, and she was able to show me a 2D rendering which gave me a good visualisation of my home which I was very impressed with! The design had details suggested by Wai Wai that complemented the aesthetics I had in mind. Unfortunately the quotation was over my budget but Wai Wai went through each line item patiently with me to see where we can make changes. She also shared a lot of information about the materials I could select for my home, and the pros and cons of each. Wai Wai was a great project manager during the renovation process. She provided progress updates to me regularly and kept me updated on defects and the resulting rectifications. She was also super responsive and I felt that the project was in good hands. Overall a lovely experience!

I have to say I am very pleased with Mr Ken Tay from Zenith Arc. His knowledge in designing helps in building my dream home. Not only that, he is very professional and provides excellent service. Even up till now when needed to he will still respond to all our enquiries and requests. Highly recommended!!!!

Very good and prompt service

I engaged Hugo Haew from Zenith Arc for my renovation. It’s been 2.5 years since I moved in so this has been a long overdue review. But waiting to write down my experience allows me to see how the Reno work holds up, and after hearing some horror Reno stories from friends and families makes me appreciate the effort Hugo had gone through to make my renovation as pain free as possible. Hugo made almost daily trips to check on the Reno developments, so that I did not have to do that on my own. Pictures of Reno works were sent to me and any issues were reported timely. Changes needed were discussed and executed with no issues. He even help collect deliveries on my behalf. The only issue I had was with the delay of the carpentry. My Reno was done during the pandemic, and due to the circuit breaker restrictions, they had to delay the carpentry works. That caused some issues for me but Hugo was very apologetic and did his best to rush it as quickly as he can. He had requested a specific carpentry master and I was impressed by the workmanship. After Reno ended, there were issues like placement of lights which I wanted changes to, and he happily obliged. After staying in my home with no issues the past 2 and a half years, I’m very glad that I had engaged Hugo and will happily engage him again if there’s a need in the future.

Just to share my renovation experiences on Zenith ARC – Alan Leong. We are busy with our works and seldom went to our new house on weekdays. During the whole renovation process, we do not need to worry much as Alan had help to schedule and monitor all other works that is not under his contract (e.g., aircon, lightings, curtains etc…). Basically, we just need to confirm the vendors and he will monitor the work progress for us. The tiling jobs are excellent as we did not find any hollow floor or wall tiles. Although there is some miscommunication on the carpentry and we must re-do one of the shoe cabinet side panel, Alan’s attitude is positive and help to rectified without any additional cost. Alan’s response and proactive actions on rectification works and schedule were excellent. All major works completed on time. Appreciate his follow-up with their sub-con on outstanding works. Lastly, thank you very much and appreciate your patients, efforts, and time for this renovation project.

We are very lucky to have Wai Wai as our ID for our new house. Before meeting Zenith Arc and Wai Wai, we met several IDs and most of them are only able to provide basic information/advice on how they would design and work with us but without any 2D sketch or materials to make us feel comfortable with the decision to go ahead with them. This completely changed after meeting Wai Wai at Zenith Arc. In our first meet up, she asked us, how are we going to decide on an ID if everyone just give us advice and portfolio and nothing else? For our next meeting, Wai Wai went ahead and did a 2D sketch for our kitchen and this gives us confidence that Wai Wai is not just an ID that talks, but walk the talk. Being able to see the actual sketch and layout of how the kitchen will look like and giving practical advice on design is what makes Wai Wai stands out amongst the ID we met. Wai Wai has amazing design/sketching skills and is able to edit on the spot, allowing us to visualise how the layout will look like. Another great thing about Wai Wai is that she’s very accommodating and willing to help and answer any questions that comes to her way. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Wai Wai, and I’ve already decided that I will engage Wai Wai when i move to my next place 😉

We’ve engaged Wai Wai to design our first home, and it was the best decision ever. We have met up with around 5 IDs before her, and many of them could not show us anything other than showing us their past projects. Wai Wai managed to impress us on our first meeting as she proposed to do draft floor plan sketches for us so that we can make a decision (non of the IDs we met proposed this). She not only came out with a design that matches what we are looking for, but also proposed ways and functional details that are critical for our small living space. She is also very responsible and responsive towards us whenever we approach her. We will definitely recommend Wai Wai to our friends or anyone who is looking for an ID.

We began our renovation journey by meeting up with 7-8 IDs and Hee Ruey was among the 3 whom we shortlisted. We eventually chose her as she was in our view the best communicator who is fluently bilingual and expresses herself clearly (even over text!). She was not pushy and let us take the time we needed to decide. What we liked was the fact that she was attentive to our needs/preferences right from our very first meeting. Despite being one of the youngest IDs we’d encountered, she was knowledgeable and capable of balancing form and function in her ideas. She was also unassuming and made sure to check and revert on our queries. Prior to the start of the renovation, discussions with Hee Ruey were almost always smooth and pleasant. Her patience with us was commendable as she would always spend time providing us with detailed explanations and answers to our questions. Even when it came to points of contention (e.g., the location of aircon trunking/box-up, the number of lights and type of switches), discussions were always professional as Hee Ruey would voice her concerns without pressuring us to agree to her suggestions. We appreciated her opinions and willingness to accept our choices as it enabled us to make informed decisions without unnecessary stress or judgment. While the first couple of weeks were hectic and stressful, the rest of the renovation process was hassle-free and smooth sailing, much to Hee Ruey’s credit. Any minor hiccups were rectified quickly and our home was never in danger of becoming a nightmare to build. Hee Ruey was meticulous in her work and would painstakingly explore the pros and cons of each option with us just to make sure we carefully considered them. She was consistent from start to finish and there were no doubts that she would see the project through. Now that our home has been completed, we would like to thank Hee Ruey and her team of contractors for a job well done. Hee Ruey made a promise to help build our dream home and she has indeed delivered: our renovation chapter was as smooth as we could possibly have asked for. Her pleasant disposition and energy makes her a joy to work with, and we are confident that she will do her very best for all her future clients. She is highly recommended to all future homeowners and we look forward to working with her again for any other project.

We had engaged both Alan and Hee Ruey from Zenith Arc for our BTO renovation. Overall experience with them was great and smooth sailing. Hee Ruey was very professional and attentive, always accommodating to our ever-changing design and needs. As we are first time home owner, we had multiple design revisions throughout the whole process and we are really grateful for her kind patient in accommodating us. On our 1st meetup, it was a pleasant surprise that a 3D walkthrough was provided which was really helpful that gave us an overview idea and space planning design of layout we could have. These are the small attentive and practical details that Hee Ruey provided which none other ID had offered us during our “ID hunting” phase. During the entire renovation process, Hee Ruey would listens to our needs and provide appropriate recommendations be it in terms of visual design or practical needs. Although there are new ideas that were proposed by us and that she had never done before, she would willingly do her due diligent research and proposed a feasible way of implementing it. Workmanship was excellent and is definitely one of the best that we had seen thus far. Post renovation was delivered promptly. Although, there were some very minor rectification/touch-ups to be done, they were rectified quickly with Hee Ruey constantly following up even after final payments were made. We would also like to give a special shoutout to Alan for being the “behind-the-scene ID”, providing additional guidance and advice. Overall, we would highly recommend Hee Ruey from Zenith Arc to those who are looking for a renovation ID as she is someone who will keep things moving according to timeline (might even come with a surprise of early completion) and having an excellent project management skill as well as delivering an incredible satisfying result! WOM to WOW! “It truly feels like a showroom!” This is the feedback we received the moment our guests stepped into our home designed by Jordan from Zeniths Arc. When we are shortlisting for ID, all of them came back with a pluck and play design which does not gel into our house with an unique structure. Through word of mouth (WOM), our close friends recommended Zeniths Arc as they had seen many successful home designs when they went for house warming. From WOM to WOW, we are truly blessed to meet a dependable yet creative interior designer who bring out the best and unique design for our home. Unlike other interior designers we have met, he truly understands our preferences and customise the design. He simply has a way to understand our inner thoughts before we articulate out or even at times we are unable to explain what we truly want; in a split moment, “voila”, he can turn a faint idea into reality. As Jordan and his troop are experienced and work with great synergies, the whole rework of the house was a surprisingly pleasant and Fun process, from confirming a design concept, down to selection of tiles to soft furnishing and unboxing the house like a pressie. The entire pre and post services for this journey are top notch. Not forgetting to mention that during the critical renovation period, we are down with covid so we are unable to go on-site for review or involve in problem solutioning. For our next home, we will definitely engage your professional service once again, as it is such an enticing home design experience for both of us!

So initially I was not keen to take on an ID due to extra costs incurred in the renovation of our resale unit and having someone who may have conflicting interests direct a project for my future home – but with work and other commitments occupying the majority of my time I found getting an ID to be, ultimately, a great investment. We went though numerous (numerous, numerous, numerous) IDs before settling on Hee Ruey as on top of a great initial pitch we found her to be the most genuine and transparent among the IDs we had screened, and also felt that she would be invested in our home as much as we were, as opposed to going for other so-called “brand-name” IDs we spoke to that charged premium rates but it was obvious to us they had their attention constantly divided between their various portfolio commitments. Hee Ruey accompanied us through the home layout design process and was patient with our multiple revisions (a process which you may go through yourself as you start to conceptualise how you can “zeng” your new home, and the costs involved) and she accommodated our timeline and preferences without being pushy or demanding. She also gave sound advice that we were glad we ultimately followed/regretted not following which adds to her credibility as a reliable ID. She was also excellent at contractor management and getting things moving, she kept one eye on the project timeline when we couldn’t afford to due to other distractions. We also recently did defects check and handovers but we noticed only very minor defects – very normal and nothing that couldn’t be remedied across a day or two – which was a huge relief given the number of post-COVID renovation horror stories that have been surfacing to date. She was also responsive to our various requests/queries and we felt she really cared about the home we were building as much as we did. In summary – we were overall consistently impressed by her performance which is a difficult thing to say for someone you may generally be working with for over half a year; we would definitely recommend her to anyone considering doing ID, whether a light renovation or complete makeover.

Hugo is one of the first few IDs we’ve met when we started on our renovation journey. We sort of clicked at first sight. As a first-time homeowner, we’re filled with lots of amazing ideas, though under limited budget. Hugo always listens to our wants patiently and give us appropriate suggestions if we went overboard with our ideas. He is very responsive and transparent to both our queries and concerns. Besides that, we’re also impressed in how he is very sincere and respectful (never sarcastic or gave snarky remarks) to our parents who tends to give a lot of comments here and there during the renovation process. We often praise him well done for the “tough” job that he didn’t sign up for. Initially we were a bit skeptical on how our walk-in wardrobe in our master bedroom will turn out given that we didn’t knock down any walls, but he gave us confidence to proceed with the idea and we really loved how cosy and functional the room turned out. To top it off, his team of carpenters also upheld a high standard of workmanship, and we are very satisfied. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience working with Hugo. He doesn’t push his design idea on us and instead, embraces our feedback and crafted the ideal home we wanted. We highly recommend him to anyone seeking an ID to aid on their renovation journey! My wife and I would like to express our thank you to Alan Leong for making our beautiful home. How we started our journey is similar to others. How we started: We were searching for a suitable ID in Qanvast and came across this portfolio that was designed by Alan. We were attracted by how he had designed for the owner. We went down to listen how he did up for the owner and had shared to him the theme and requirement we wanted for our home. Alan was creative and gave his opinions & suggestion to help us accomplish our initial stage. Definitely most house owner did the same as we did, comparing all quotes to find the cheapest. The difference we had was that Alan did up the sketch layout drawing to show us how our house layout to-be. On first glance, we were excited as he assisted to add on more ideas and plan to what we initially gave. It gave us better visibility to the execution plan he will be doing. Why choose Him and not others ? Well, there are many IDs in Singapore and I would say it is the special one that your heart wants you to choose. There was good chemistry and we were able to joke and talk out what things we wanted with him. He gave his professional expertise in renovation skill by sharing what we should or should not do for our home. The price is competitive and it did met our budget. Without much consideration, he is our first choice. Any difficulty you had with him? I believe covid period is a tough year for every renovation company. You will encounter delays or worried on price increase. We did experienced delay but it was reasonable and resolved by Alan. He explained and rectify any issue that causes. The importance is the recovery effort and professional planning done by Alan. Drawing Vs Reality: I am pleased to say this. The 3D drawing is beautiful. When we first saw the drawing, we like it a lot. We made a couple of changes and finally begin our renovation process. Today, we compared it against the drawing, it matches what it was provided and shown. Wonderful isn’t it. Conclusion: Renovation process is not easy and patience is the key to everything. You need an ID whom not only understand what you want but also able to explain the technical knowledge of the house to build your dream home. And Alan definitely met the requirement. I would recommend home owner to go down to hear the experience you want with Alan and hear out personally yourself. Communications with Wai Wai is always a breeze since our first meeting. Being a 3D artist herself, she impressed us with a preliminary 3D design in our second meeting, and subsequently the few round of 3D drawings. Wai Wai was always very patient and responsive to our questions and requests, understood our needs well and has given us practical suggestions for our home design for an easy-to-maintain and yet stylish home design. We were on a tight renovation timeline, but Wai Wai managed to deliver a beautiful move-in condition within 2 months and kept within budget too. Thank you so much for giving us a beautiful home <3

This is a long overdue review for our Interior Designer, Hugo, from Zenith Arc. Our renovation was completed 1 year ago. By now, we are confident to say that the quality / workmanship is really good. All the carpentries / structural works still look and feel the same, as if it is just handled over to us, with minimal / close to none defects! The plus points for Hugo is definitely his interior design experience. The communication with Hugo is at ease thanks to his patience, humbleness, responsiveness and transparency. The end to end renovation process, from initial quotation to renovation completion, might take up to half a year. It is therefore important to engage someone that you are comfortable to talk to / deal with! Interior design experience – Hugo guided us and designed Japandi style for our place. This included 3D drawings, select the type of materials (such as table top / vinyl etc), select / match the colors of material, route the air con / electric trunking / water piping where possible to hide its visibility, prioritize the renovation items within our budget etc. For the ease of day to day usage, he balanced his advices between aesthetics and pragmatism. He advised on the height of the carpentry, such as height of kitchen island, the location of sink / stove, the number of down lights, depth of drawers and many other fine details. We were under the impression that 3D drawing was just for reference and did not expect that the final product turned out to be almost exactly the same as the drawing! Patience – Hugo did not impose any of his ideas on us, but rather he would listen to our requirements / preferences patiently and then provided his advises accordingly. There was no hard sell or push for more renovation for higher billing. Along the process, he would keep track of a full list of the minor details that we had agreed and follow up on the open points, if any, which assured us that all our requests were being attended. When the unit was handled over to us, Hugo was also patient and sent his team to touch up to our satisfaction! This was part of the after sales service which we were impressed with! Transparency – The communication with Hugo has always been transparent. The renovation process is bound to have changes for new ideas. Every single changes and the associated costs were clearly communicated and agreed upon. There was no hidden charge that surprised us! For additional costs that he was able to absorb, he would also assess within his means. No one is perfect. Perhaps the area that Hugo should consider to work on is project management. There was 2 weeks delay of our renovation compared to the original timeline. However, we lent him the understanding that there were many renovation backlogs during covid period constrained by the shortages of contractors. He did escalate the renovation process where possible. Lastly, this is more towards personal preference. We like to be micro and be updated oftenly, if possible daily updates, whereby Hugo would provide update when the key milestone is completed, or when the carpentries / structural works are more in shape. Overall, we are grateful to have engaged Hugo! and we highly recommend him for your consideration!

A trusted designer. Cost and service also extremely good!

We spoke to several IDs before deciding on Jordan and Hugo from Zenith Arc. They put in the effort to come up with 3D rendering from the get-go which helped to visualize the concept and ideas for the project. Throughout the planning stage, Hugo was always a phone call away. This was well appreciated as most of the discussions took place outside of official work hours. He also accompanied us to various showrooms and shops to source for furniture whenever we requested. We had ideas of our own and appreciate that Jordan and Hugo were there to remind that less is more. The end result was aesthetically pleasing, not forgetting the practicality of day to day living. Overall the journey was enjoyable and project was delivered on time. Special shout-out to the carpentry team, work done here was a positive surprise and we have been getting rave reviews of the place.

We engaged Alan & Wai Wai from Zenith Arc to take on our home renovation project within short notice and compressed design timeline. Throughout the entire design process, Alan demonstrated his experience and talent in interior design. Wai Wai could propose simple yet effective ID elements for the various spaces, at the same time helping us translate and incorporate our ideas into the design. Both complement each other really really well. We could trust their recommendations wholeheartedly. We appreciate their considerations to the little details of home living which allowed their designs to be charming without sacrificing practicality. We’re still amazed at their ability to sketch out their designs in 3D perspective on the fly for us to visualize before making design decisions. During the construction phase, Both managed the site works as well. They worked professionally and adept in coordinating the various works whilst providing us constant updates at each milestone. They were also very understanding and patient to deal with various unforeseen site issues as well as delays of our fitments. We were assured that any of our comments and queries will be taken care of swiftly and surely. All in all, we are pleased with the workmanship. Of course there are some minor reno defects, but they resolved the issue quickly, and went the extra mile to ensure they were rectified smoothly and properly. Our home turned out to be perfect. They had been extremely dedicated to the project, and even stayed till late just to go through the designs with us. They had been conscientious, responsive to our messages and reacted quickly to site issues. We deeply appreciate their hard work, and it had been a great pleasure and honor to have them working on our home. We highly recommend Zenith Arc, and especially Alan and Wai Wai to anyone who wish to renovate their home. You can be assured that it will be one that is homely, unpretentious, endearing and purposeful all in a complete package.
